The third season of popular light novel adaptation A Certain Magical Index will be hitting the airwaves in Oct. 2018!
A key visual released alongside the confirmation of the broadcast date features a dynamic scene of the main characters including Kamijou Touma, Index, Misaka Mikoto, Accelerator, and Hamazura Shiage.
Cast members so far announced for the long awaited third season include: Abe Atsushi (Kamijou Touma), Iguchi Yuka (Index), Sato Rina (Misaka Mikoto), Okamoto Nobuhiko (Accelerator), and Hino Satoshi (Hamazura Shiage). Nishikiori Hiroshi will direct with original character design by Haimura Kiyotaka, character design by Tanaka Yuichi, and series composition from Yoshiko Hiroyuki.
Written by Kamachi Kazuma and illustrated by Haimura Kiyotaka, A Certain Magical Index was first adapted as a TV anime in 2008 with a second season following in 2010 and a movie in 2013.
A Certain Magical Index Season 3 will premiere in Japan sometime in Oct. 2018.
