Anime Music Streaming Service ANiUTa to Launch in US This August!

AniUta, a music streaming service dedicated to anime songs, will be finally be available to US listeners this August.

Already popular with Japanese fans, AniUta was founded in 2017 as the first streaming service dedicated to anime music. In Japan, the service already features music from 30 labels including Lantis, Flying Dog, Pony Canyon and avex pictures with over 60,000 tracks from anime, games and more.

The dedicated app has been updated for a more user-friendly anisong experience, and allows listeners to find songs via title, get the lyrics for the song currently playing, and create individual playlists.

Ahead of the US launch, AniUta is running a special promotional campaign that will reward 300 fans with some exclusive merchandise: 150 T-shirts each signed by the artists who performed at May’s AniUpa!! concert, and 150 branded hand towels. To enter, simply follow AniUta on Facebook and/or Twitter and follow the instructions on the official website. Winners will receive either one T-shirt or one hand towel selected at random.

The AniUta app will be available in August from Google Pay and the Apple Store.
