Perhaps taking a cue from Thanos, Marvel Studios achieves perfect balance, between comedy and drama, in the new teaser for the digital and Blu-ray release of Avengers: Infinity War.
If, somehow, you’ve yet to watch the blockbuster sequel, be warned: There are spoilers in this minute-long promo, including who’s wearing the Hulkbuster armor (mind you, that was spoiled time and again by toy releases).

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Infinity War has earned north of $2 billion worldwide since its release on April 27, surpassing the two previously installments of the franchise to become the top-grossing Marvel Studios film.

For fans, of course, its most important achievement is up-ending the status quo of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, serving as the culmination of an overarching storyline that began in 2012 with the introduction of Thanos in the mid-credits scene of The Avengers. The Mad Titans’ finger snap, resulted in half of all life in the universe being snuffed out of existence, the consequences of which is already glimpsed in Ant-Man and The Wasp. We won’t know how it’s resolved until next year, with the premiere of Avengers 4.
Avengers: Infinity War arrives July 31 on digital, and Aug. 14 on Blu-ray.
