Keeping with the self-referential style of its protagonist, the marketing campaign for Deadpool 2 continues to tell it like it is. The latest poster for reminds viewers that 20th Century Fox, the studio behind the sequel, is also the responsible for killing off the fan-favorite Wolverine in 2017’s Logan.
This isn’t the first time Deadpool 2‘s marketing has reminded us the studio killed off Wolverine: The fun fact has also been included in the film’s trailers, along with such other pertinent information as “the studio that brought you 27 Dresses and The Devil Wears Prada.” Deadpool 2‘s got jokes for days.
