We’ve already heard about the Justice League ride at Metropolis, but for those who have always wanted to tread the dark streets of Gotham City and visit the tragic Crime Alley, now you can.

Promising “state-of-the-art rides and attractions,” fans can pop by themed restaurants and memorabilia shops while standing side-by-side the likes of Joker, Catwoman, Scarecrow and Harley Quinn. However, the star of the city will be Batman: Knight Flight. Dubbed “a highly exhilarating dark ride, providing drops, climbs, spins, and roll,” guests are recruited as test pilots for the newest prototype of the ultimate urban patrol vehicle.

Heading through a secret panel at Wayne Tower, riders tour the Batcave itself. Strapping in a remote-controlled Batwing, they’re launched out of the Batcave and into the night to battle the villains of Gotham. More than just a flight simulator, it promises to be an interactive experience, with state-of-the-art immersive technology.

As well as Knight Flight, Scarecrow Scare Raid will come complete with “dizzying maneuvers from Scarecrow’s latest psychological experiments,” while The Riddler Revolution is a spinning roller coaster from the villainous quizmaster. Elsewhere, you can try and claim back Gotham’s waterfront with a trip to the Rogues Galler, classic carnival stalls with a Batman twist, offering everything from Whac-A-Bat to the Get-Away Car and Toxic Blast. Finally, Joker’s Fun House offers a twisted trip into the psyche of the Clown Prince of Crime.

As for dining experiences? There’s Mr. Freeze’s Ice Scream Truck, hang out with the GCPD at Gotham City’s Finest, or head to the Hall Of Doom in an abandoned subway station to dine with Batman’s biggest bad guys in a unique dining experience.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi will open later this year on the man-made Yas Island.
