The sequel to hit live action film Gintama has announced that Japanese rock band Back Number are performing the theme song.
The three-member rock band made their professional debut in 2004 and are also said to be fans of the original work. Titled “Daifuseikai”, the song was composed specially for the movie and is inspired by the theme of long term friendship.
The movie will cover both the Shinsengumi Crisis and Shogun Reception arcs of the original manga.
