Hot Toys to Release Movie-Accurate Infinity Gauntlet

Movies

Thanos’ mission to claim the Infinity Gauntlet and all six of the Infinity Stones has taken him all over the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the Mad Titan will finally step into the spotlight in Avengers: Infinity War. Now, fans can get the iconic glove and powerful stones from the comfort of your own home — it won’t let you wipe out half of the universe with a snap of your fingers, though.

Hot Toys has announced the Avengers: Infinity War 1/4 scale Infinity Gauntlet Collectible. Standing about 17 cm (a little more than six-and-a-half inches) tall, Hot Toys’ upcoming collectible is highly detailed and crafted with polystone — the company is known for creating movie-accurate product, after all. While the collectible may not give you the massive power that Thanos seeks, it does feature two LED light-up functions: a light-on effect and a pulsing light option for the six Infinity Stones. The impressive cosmic collectible includes a base that features the upcoming movie’s logo, too. Hot Toys’ Infinity Gauntlet Collectible will be released later this year, though there’s no more specific information yet than “Approximately Q2 – Q3, 2018.” Check out the images below.

The Infinity Gauntlet and six Infinity Stones look to be the center of attention in Anthony and Joe Russo’s upcoming blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War. Whether or not Thanos will complete his mission and wipe out half of the universe with a snap of his fingers (like in Marvel’s classic Infinity Gauntlet miniseries) is yet to be seen, but the big moment definitely has been teased.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others. Avengers: Infinity War opens April 27.
