An Old Spice spokesman has joined the cast of It: Chapter 2, as Isaiah Mustafa will join Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy and Bill Hader in the highly-anticipated sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mustafa is set to play the adult version of Mike Hanlon, rounding out the cast of the Losers Club. The actor, who is perhaps best known for his Old Spice commercials, confirmed his casting on Instagram, thanking New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. for “getting the stars to align.”

Mustafa is coming off of three seasons of the Freeform drama, Shadowhunters, based on the best-selling series of books about beings known as Shadowhunters and the dark forces that exist unbeknownst to mundanes. In the series, which was recently canceled, the actor portrayed the werewolf, Luke Garroway. It marked Mustafa’s biggest acting role to date following smaller roles in projects such as Horrible Bosses and Madea’s Big Happy Family.

It proved to be a massive success for New Line and Warner Bros. as the film went on to earn a massive $700.3 million at the worldwide box office. A feat made all the more impressive by the fact that the film was an R-rated flick. Production on It: Chapter 2 is expected to kick off next month.
