The original 1992 Disney animated film Aladdin has one of the greatest soundtracks of all time and it sounds like next year’s live-action remake will being adding to the number of showstoppers with several brand new tunes.

Songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who previously collaborated to award-winning success on last year’s The Greatest Showman and 2016’s La La Land, have teased a handful of the new songs they are co-writing with legendary Disney composer Alan Menken for the upcoming film. Menken had previously composed the 1992 soundtrack along with songwriters Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.

“We got to write a new song for Jasmine,” explained Paul in an interview with Variety. “Alan wrote a beautiful piece of music and [actor Naomi Scott] is incredible.”

The duo then confirmed they have written both a new verse for the opening “Arabian Nights” song establishing the film’s setting as well as a new duet shared by the eponymous Disney hero and Jasmine.
