“Hey man. I’m Korg, this is Miek.”

If you read this in Taika Waititi’s incomparable voice work as Thor: Ragnarok‘s Korg, you are not alone. The director of the threequel not only made the most lucrative and critically-acclaimed Thor film, he also brought to life a fan-favorite character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, thanks to the popular mobile game Marvel Contest of Champions, the director was gracious enough to return to voice the rocky blue alien in a motion comic book video titled Revolution 2.0, featuring a special guest appearance by Korg’s best pal, Miek.

The video is meant to be an ad for the new characters that will be added to the game, framed around the well-known story of Korg’s latest revolution antics. As fans might recall, one of the most popular jokes from Thor: Ragnarok involved Korg revealing that he had been imprisoned to fight in the Sakaar arena because he tried to start a revolution that failed because he hadn’t printed enough pamphlets.

The Revolution 2.0 motion comic video essentially tells the follow-up to that story, by having Korg distribute pamphlets for a second revolution. Naturally, while not a whole lot of people show up, the Taika Waititi-voiced Korg chooses some new recruits at random, effectively announcing that Red Skull, Heimdall and Doug will also be joining the game.
