The extended version of the Deadpool sequel is expected to debut with a special screening at San Diego Comic-Con next week. The screening will occur in the San Diego Convention Center’s famed Hall H on Saturday, July 21 at 5:15 PM PST.

An extended cut of Deadpool 2 was first confirmed in May by director David Leitch with the filmmaker working on the version immediately after the theatrical version premiered. Leitch teased that the new version would feature include entirely new scenes while extending existing sequences and providing alternate angles and jokes from the theatrical version of the film.

With things looking bigger and spandexier, it’ll be interesting to see how much footage is added to the new version of the film.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, with newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, and Julian Dennison as Russell.
