Leave it to arguably the most charismatic actor in Hollywood to be a (mostly) gracious loser. Dwayne Johnson posted a motivational video, of sorts, in which he salutes the blockbuster success of Marvel’s Black Panther, which unseated his own Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle from atop its 2018 box-office throne.
In the video, as the actor searches for motivation before beginning another workout, Johnson can’t help but mention his new competition. “I think about Black Panther, kicking the shit out of Jumanji at the box office,” he says with a laugh. “That’s all the motivation I need.”

The actor then follows up with a heartfelt congratulations to Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, and the entire cast, stating how proud he is of their work. “Wakanda forever,” he adds. “That’s all I need — motivation enough. Shit.”
Johnson’s Jumanji sequel lit up the box office, knocking Star Wars: The Last Jedi from the top spot, and remained king for four weeks straight. But those achievements pale in comparison to Black Panther, which premiered to whopping numbers that smashed box-office records. It continues apace well into its second weekend of release.
