Kid Flash actor Keiynan Lonsdale won’t return as a series regular for the upcoming fourth season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

The Flash alum joined The CW drama in March with the 13th episode of Season 3, following the departures of original cast members Victor Garber and Franz Drameh. Although it was widely assumed Lonsdale would stick around as a series regular for the fourth season, TVLine reports that’s not the case.

Although no reason is given for the actor’s exit, the outlet reports the door remains open for him to return to Legends at a later date. Lonsdale is already confirmed to have a guest role on the Season 5 premiere of The Flash.

Matt Ryan and Jes Macallan are still on board as series regulars, appearing as John Constantine and Ava in Season 4.

Lonsdale, 26, is fresh off his role in Love, Simon, the acclaimed romantic comedy-drama directed by Arrowverse producer Greg Berlanti.

Returning to The CW for a fourth season on Mondays this fall, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel, Matt Ryan as John Constantine and Jes Macallan as Eva Sharpe.
