A mesmerizing teaser video for Evangelion: 3.0+1.0, the fourth and final movie of reboot series Rebuild of Evangelion, is now available to view on YouTube and the series' official website.
The teaser showcases Evangelion Unit-08 being piloted by Makinami Mari Illustrious, who first appeared in the second Rebuild of Evangelion movie, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.
First revealed on Jul. 20, the video is running in theaters throughout Japan before showings of Hosoda Mamoru's anime film Mirai of the Future.
Rebuild of Evangelion is a four-part movie series produced by Studio Khara as a remake of Anno Hideaki's original anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Its first installment, Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. premiered in 2007, followed by Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo. in 2009 and 2012.
