The newest anime adaptation of the classic gag series Tensai Bakabon has finally released its first trailer and main visual!
Written and directed by Hosokawa Toru ( Shirokuma Cafe ), the new adaptation is titled Shinya! Tensai Bakabon and will be the fifth anime adaptation of Akatsuka Fuji’s manga series. The previous installment, Rerere no Tensai Bakabon, finished its run in 2000.
First serialized way back in 1967 in Weekly Shounen Magazine, Tensai Bakabon follows the unpredictable lives of a young boy named Bakabon, his bizarre father, and the rest of their family.
Tensai Bakabon is set to premiere in Japan sometime in Jul. 2018.
